Here’s why Claude by Anthropic is one of my favorite tools for writing and content creation. Click on each section to learn more about how I use it and why I think it’s worth your time.
This is Claude, the ChatGPT competitor, and I use it all the time. It’s outstanding at imitating human language and is extremely conversational. ChatGPT is great too, but Claude takes it to another level—it’s been that way from the start, and that’s one of its key competitive advantages.
Now, I use ChatGPT a ton for everything—it’s kind of like my Google search in that it’s the tool I go to all the time. But when I need to write something, I love using Claude. It can do way more than just writing; it has features like artifacts and coding, though I don’t dive into those much. Maybe in the future! But for now, I want you to mess around with this tool and see what it can do for you, especially if you’re into content creation.
One of the reasons I love Claude is how well it can adapt to my writing style. Here’s what I do: I grab a copy of a previous newsletter I’ve written, drag and drop it into Claude, and then ask it to write a new newsletter on a different topic, but with the same tone and format. The result? Something that sounds just like me.
For example, I asked Claude to write a newsletter about the future of AI and robotics. It came up with something like this:
"Forget about ChatGPT for a second. We’re here to witness the rise of the machines, and I don’t mean in a Terminator-apocalyptic kind of way. I mean, holy cow, that robot just made me lunch and answered my email kind of way."
See what I mean? It nails my style—my tone, my humor, everything. It’s like having a writing partner who gets you completely. And while you can do this in ChatGPT too, Claude is particularly good at it.
If you’re a content creator or someone who needs to match a specific brand voice, I think Claude is absolutely the best way to go. It’s easy to find—just Google Claude by Anthropic, and you can sign up for a free account. I personally use the paid version, which gives me the top model for $20 a month. It’s worth it for me because I use it all the time, but there’s also a free version available if you want to test the waters.
If you’re interested in exploring other tools, like Google Gemini, that’s another great option. But when it comes to creating content that sounds uniquely yours, Claude is my top pick. Give it a try—I think you’ll find it worth your time.
